Rotrians hear about orthopedic services

From the Hill to the Mountains: A weekly column by U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)

January 16, 2013

Rotarian Trina Hager, right, introduced Yevone Hupp to the Madison Rotary Club during a recent meeting where Ms. Hupp, practice manager for the Teays Valley Orthopedics group, was the guest speaker. She represented Dr. James Cox, a member of the group who specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine and visits Madison every Friday in an office in the Cliff Hill building located on upper Main Street. Ms. Hupp explained that Dr. Cox saw a need here for orthopedic services since there are no orthopedic providers in this area and patients had to drive long distances for this service. Dr. Cox is board certified, and is in Madison from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. every Friday. For an appointment, those interested can call 304-757-2273. Patients can also go online at camc.org/madisonortho for patient and referral forms.
