Spirit Filled Revival
Jarrells Valley Community Church will host a spirit filled revival April 17-21.
It will feature on Wednesday, April 17, Sister Faye Morgan; Thursday, April 18, Preaching and singing by Brother Michael and Vicky Buzmensky; Friday, April 19, singing by the Kpperston City Quire and others; Saturday, April 20, Brother Joey Massey; and Sunday, April 21, Brother John Grimmett.
Pastor Ronnie Gibson and the church invite everyone to attend these revival services.
RACINE UNITED METHODIST REVIVAL
Pastor Fairley McCormick of the Charleston Mountain Mission will be in revival at the Racine United Methodist Church at 998 Short Creek Road from April 17th through April 20th, at 7 p.m. each night.
There will be special singing each night, including Wednesday, April 17, there will be the Racine United Methodist Choir; Thursday, April 18, there will be the City of Refuge Singers; Friday, April 19, there will be The Hernshaw United Methodist Choir; and on Saturday, April 20, there will be Tim McCoy.

There will be a fundraiser for Sandra Cox on May 11 starting at noon at Van United Methodist Church. They will be having a hot dog and bake goods sale, plus taking orders for Premier Designs Jewelry.
The church is located off Rt. 85, toward Gordon, just past the Van Ambulance Station, on the right, across the bridge. The bridge is just before the Y & O Camp.
Church hot dog, bake, yard sale
Brown’s Branch Free Will Baptist Church will have a hot dog, bake and yard sale vendor event on Saturday, Mary 4, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You need to RSVP if you want to rent a table for the yard sale or be a vendor. Please contact Gini Nelson at 304-837-3894 for further information.
The church is looking for vendors such as Thirty One, Avon, Pampered Chef, Pink Zebra, Scentsy, Celebrating Home, Origami Owl, handmade crafts, etc.
All proceeds from the hot dog sale and table rentals will go to benefit the youth group.
Barrett Church of the Nazarene
Barrett Church of the Nazarene, located in lower Clinton Camp at Barrett, will be holding a revival. The Rev. Harry Sellards, a former pastor, will be the speaker.
The revival will run through Sunday night, April 21, 2013. Services will begin at 7 p.m. tonight through Saturday night and then at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning and 6 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Everyone is invited, and encouraged, to come out and hear Rev. Sellards speak. May God bless and keep you.
Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church of Ashford has scheduled a Spring Revival from Wednesday, April 17 through Saturday, April 20 with services beginning each night at 7 p.m. Danny Kinder II and Randell Kinder will be the evangelists.
Special music will be provided, as follows: Wednesday, April 17 - Hernshaw United Methodist Church Choir; Thursday, April 18 - Reliance; Friday, April 19 - Steve Wood; and Saturday, April 20 - The Hoy Family.
Pastor David Kinder invites everyone to attend these special services.
There will be a gospel meeting at Drawdy Church of Christ April 17-18, 2013, starting at 7 p.m. each evening. Speakers will be Kevin Trivette and Scott Pauley.
Prayer Connection Lighthouse
Prayer Connection Lighthouse in Danville is accepting donations of clothing, canned goods, furniture and garden foods. Monetary donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 159, Danville, WV 25053.
They also need volunteers from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The church’s “Heart of God Soup Kitchen” serves free hot meals Monday through Friday between 1:30 and 5 p.m. Due to health department regulations, no food can be carried out. The kitchen will be open in April on the 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30.
The church or the kitchen does not give out cash or any other monetary assistance.

The McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church Crisis Committee invites everyone to participate in our “Community Nursing Program.” The program takes place he third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCorkle FWB Church multipurpose room.
An RN will be available to the congregation of the church, community and surrounding communities to take your blood pressure, check your blood sugar, explain “the VIAL OF LIFE” (essential information to keep on hand), and explain Medical Power of Attorneys or Living Wills.
