First Christian Church
The First Christian Church at Racine Hill is now open for services on Thursday and Friday nights. Gospel singers are needed. Pastor Jesse Thompson welcomes all to attend. For more information, call 304-833-6160.
There will be a revival at Maple Hill Baptist Church in Morrisvale on May 13-17 at 7 p.m. nightly with Evangelist Scott Bowman. Special singing includes: Monday, May 13, Heirs of Salvation; Tuesday, May 14, Safe Harbor; Wednesday, May 15, Maple Hill Choir; Thursday, May 16, Joyful Noise; and Friday, May 17, Still Saved by Grace.
The church and Pastor David Bowman invites everyone to attend.
Bias Branch yard sale
The Bias Branch Youth Group Church will be having a yard sale at Lick Creek Mall, and also selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
Also, at More For Less Store we will be having and hot dog sale and also selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Please come out and support out youth group church.
Greenview Community Church
The Greenview Community Church would like to invite any and all mothers and daughters to attend our annual Mother/Daughter Cookout on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the church beginning at 3 p.m. Hope to see you there.
Madison Christian Center on the Old Pool Road will be having a “Mercy Revival” on Saturday, May 11, 2013, starting at 9 a.m. with Ginger Diles preaching, Seth Bunting and Ginger Diles singing and our wonderful youth Church Worship Team as well.
There will be revival services at Whiteoak Freewill Baptist Church in Orgas, May 8-11, with service starting at 7 p.m. each night.
Special singers include: Wednesday, May 8, In His Name; Thursday, May 9, Jacob’s Ladder; Friday, May 10, Brad Query; and Saturday, May 11, Higher Calling.

There will be a fundraiser for Sandra Cox on May 11, starting at noon, at Van United Methodist Church. They will be having a hot dog and bake goods sale, plus taking orders for Premier Designs Jewelry.
The church is located off Rt. 85, toward Gordon, just past the Van Ambulance Station, on the right, across the bridge. The bridge is just before the Y & O Camp.
Prayer Connection Lighthouse
Prayer Connection Lighthouse in Danville is accepting donations of clothing, canned goods, furniture and garden foods. Monetary donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 159, Danville, WV 25053.
They also need volunteers from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The church’s “Heart of God Soup Kitchen” serves free hot meals Monday through Friday between 1:30 and 5 p.m. Due to health department regulations, no food can be carried out. The kitchen will be open in April on the 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30.
The church or the kitchen does not give out cash or any other monetary assistance.

McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church
The McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church Crisis Committee invites everyone to participate in our “Community Nursing Program.” The program takes place he third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCorkle FWB Church multipurpose room.
An RN will be available to the congregation of the church, community and surrounding communities to take your blood pressure, check your blood sugar, explain “the VIAL OF LIFE” (essential information to keep on hand), and explain Medical Power of Attorneys or Living Wills.
