Do you agree it takes a village to educate children?
This is one example of a village coming together to educate children and provide support. Despite the current situation of our economy several businesses and local citizens gave monetary donations.
Administrators, parents, and teachers provided a dedicated team educate the children. These local citizens and businesses provide the monetary support so that the children were able to extend their education beyond the classroom.
Cook law office, Conaway law office, Dr. Senator, Handley Funeral Home, Hatfield law office, Madison Elementary PTO, Jean Cook, and Jeannie McClung. Teresa Butcher, Brenda Lovejoy and Melissa Workman are the aides in the classroom.
They are dedicated assistants who love the students and go above and beyond what is required. They are true educators who enjoy interacting and working with the students.
The administrator’s Mrs. Napier and Mr. Griffith provided support and understanding to the classroom. Without their support and understanding we would not have been able to extend the needed social skills and interactions within the community.
Every parent was very supportive of our efforts and their child.
I have taught for many years and never encountered such parental support. This is a vital component to educating students.
With the money and support we were able to purchase classroom shirts, attend various field trips, food and games for the beach blast, the Jack Hannah trip, Disney on Ice and the end of the year trip to the bowling alley.
Thank you to all of the people who were supportive and provided a successful school year to the students.
