Car of missing woman found in Boone County

TWILIGHT — Police have found the car of a missing woman in the Twilight area of Boone County’


Charlene Morgan-Hankins, 55, of Tennessee was last seen in Logan County. Police say she has family in both Logan and Mingo counties.


Hankins was last seen on August 7th at Trinity Health Care near Chief Logan State Park.


Police found her white 2005 Nissan Sentra on a dirt road near Twilight in Boone County.


Her keys were in the ignition and there were personal belongings in the vehicle. Police say there is no evidence of foul play, but they are not ruling it out.


Hankins is 4-foot-10-inches tall, an weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has light brown hair with blonde highlights, green eyes, and walks with a slight limp due to an injury sustained in an automobile accident.
