DANVILLE – In the past three years, six American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) centers have won national awards for providing quality health care in their communities. Now, AMFM is bringing this commitment to quality care to Boone County.
Boone Health & Rehabilitation Center will now be known as Hillcrest Health Care Center (HHCC), and will be part of a locally operated company with 14 more locations throughout West Virginia.
“We are tremendously excited to be joining this community,” Tammy Jo Painter, Vice President of Compliance for AMFM, said. “From getting to know the dedicated employees here to meeting families and community members, we expect some great and exciting times ahead.”
Painter says since 2012, AMFM centers have won six Bronze Commitment to Quality awards and two Silver Achievement in Quality award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living.
“Additionally, several centers have also ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation for customer and employee satisfaction,” according to Painter.
While AMFM’s commitment to quality care for their patients is their primary goal, also being a quality community partner is important to each center as well, Painter said.
“The AMFM Charitable Foundation has presented more than $130,000 in charitable donations to community and civic organizations where AMFM operates,” said Painter.
“We believe that in addition to the award winning and quality care AMFM is bringing to the community, it’s also important to be a good partner,” Brandon S. Totten, Community Relations Manager for AMFM, said.
HHCC is a 90 bed rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care center.
According to the new management, AMFM’s mission is “To exemplify excellence in quality care to our customers by providing an environment that enhances personal growth, individuality, dignity and respect.”
