Scott High School teen dies in car crash

JULIAN — A Scott High School teenager has died in a crash in Julian, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.The crash happened about 2 p.m. in Julian on Corridor G, officials reported.Carolyn Green, a 16-year-old girl, was driving, according to police. They say she lost control and flipped her vehicle.Green died on the scene, officials reported.Green, a junior at Scott High School, played on the Lady Skyhawks girls’ basketball team.
