There will be a Christmas Cantata Night of the Father’s Love presented by combined choirs of First Baptist Church of Danville and the Madison Baptist Church. There will be two performances. One on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Madison Baptist Church, and one on Monday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Danville.

The Heart of God Soup Kitchen
The church’s “Heart of God Soup Kitchen” serves free hot meals Monday through Friday between 1:30 and 5 p.m. Due to health department regulations, no food can be carried out.
The Heart of God Soup Kitchen is in desperate need of donations and grocery items. They are needing dry goods, canned foods, meats, garden foods, and other grocery items to help feed those in need. Monetary donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 159, Danville, WV 25053.
The church or the kitchen does not give out cash or any other monetary assistance.
We would like to thank the community for all of its support and love. The soup kitchen feeds 1,448 hot meals.
