Two arrested on multiple criminal charges

Jonathan Hunter Cooper, 18 years old, of Seth was arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary.
Cooper was apprehended after breaking into a residence near Coopertown Thursday night, Nov. 21, 2013.
The stolen items were recovered and he was taken into custody by Deputy Shawn Jarrell, according to Boone County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Chad Barker.
“His arrest also cleared up a burglary from earlier in the week, which occurred in Prenter,” he said.
Cooper was arraigned and bond was set at $60,000 Surety or $6,000 Cash.
Recent Boone County Magistrate Court activity shows Cooper plead guilty on Thursday, Nov 21, 2013, to a misdemeanor crime of receiving or transferring stolen property.
He was given a fine only of $250 plus court costs.
Walter Lee Hill, 26, of Six Mile was arrested and charged with one count of breaking and entering.
Hill was apprehended by Deputy Jeff Robinette Thursday night, Nov. 21, 2013, shortly after breaking into a residence in the Bigson area of Boone County.
Hill was arraigned and bond was set at $20,000 surety or $2,000 cash.
“Hill is another individual who is familiar to Boone County law enforcement,” Barker said.
Hill was arrested and indicted on numerous felony charges throughout 2013.
“He plead guilty to the felony crimes of breaking and entering as well as attempted grand larceny in August,” Barker added.
Hill is currently out on bond waiting to be sentenced in Boone County Circuit Court.
