Thanks for the support
My name is Kevin Dalton, Owner and Operator of KD’s Kettle Corn. My wife and I would like to take this time to thank all our friends, family and supporters who stood by our sides through the past couple of weeks. The overwhelming support from the community has touched our hearts deeply.
This includes my parents, Susie and Russell Dalton, Kelly Underwood, Owner of K-Bo’s Ice Cream and his staff and family who treated us like gold, Ben White, Attorney, Josh Barker, Manager, Town of Danville, Joshua Nelson, WV House of Delegates, Fred Pace, Editor, Coal Valley News, Leslie Rubin, Channel 8 News, Al Woody, Jeff Jeffries and Toni Lynn, WQBE Radio, and, last but not least, our friends, neighbors, family and supporters. We had folks who traveled from Charleston, Dunbar, Nitro, Williamson, Logan, Hamlin, and too many other places to name who came out to express their appreciation and support for us the past two days. We even got mail orders for our product!
As we worked at K-Bo’s Ice Cream Friday and Saturday, there were many who drove by and honked, waved and shouted encouragement to us. We tried to thank everyone individually who stopped by to purchase our kettle corn and convey their support for us. If we left anyone out, we apologize from the bottom of our hearts. You have made a difference, not only to us, but also to the community in which we live. We have never experienced such devotion from so many and we are humbled. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel toward all of you.
