Kroger gets a new manager

Kroger in Madison has a new manager. Timothy Syner, 46, now resides in Belle. He is the son of Rev. Orville and Sydna Syner of Marmet, originally of Madison, and the grandson of the late Rev. George and America Syner of Madison and Louis and Bernadine Wilson of Montgomery.
Syner is married to Lisa Syner and the couple has four children, Nathaniel, 14; Leah, 9; Kristen, 24; and Morgan 21. They are huge pet lovers and have three dogs and a cat.
“In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf and attending all types of sporting events,” Syner said. “During the summer months, I can be found at almost every West Virginia Power baseball games.”
Syner has worked for Kroger for 26 years.
“I started in Logan as carryout and was accepted into the management training program for 22 years,” Syner said. “I have worked in all stores in the Charleston area and spent 10 years in Atlanta, Ga., before moving back to West Virginia 8 years ago.”
Syner added that he looks forward to working with the community and meeting all the people of the Madison and Danville areas.
