MADISON – Chad Foster, a nationally known financial educator, will speak at a Boone County school and two Logan County schools on Wednesday, April 2.

His appearance is made possible by State Treasurer John Perdue’s office.

Scott, who is also a successful businessman, tailors his message to high school students, with a rapid-fire delivery. Among other things, he urges them to save money, watch credit card spending and work toward investing.

His schedule:

• 9 a.m., Scott High School, speaking to 160 seniors

• 10:45 a.m., Chapmanville High School, 200 seniors

• 1 p.m., Logan High School, 200 seniors

“We’re thrilled to bring Chad to southern West Virginia,” Treasurer Perdue said. “His style is a perfect one to reach high school students. It is not a dull presentation.”
