Students in the Pro-Start Culinary Arts Program catered the annual Advisory Dinner that was held on Nov. 7, 2013, at the career center.

This dinner allows the staff to connect with their industry partners to discuss, implement and improve current industry technology used in the classroom.

Staff and guests discussed new industry performance standards, cutting edge technologies, utilization of technical mathematics and the addition of new certifications.

The students enrolled in the Pro-Start Program and their instructor Chef Robert Milam, created and prepared the dinner menu, which included scrumptious salads, exquisite main entrees, many decadent desserts and refreshing beverages.

Jeff Nelson, the Boone Career & Technical Center director, and his staff would like to thank the students for catering the event.
