Boone County Fair hosts annual bike and car show

This year the weather cooperated beautifully for the annual Bike and Car show hosted by the Boone County Fair and its new board officers and members. Despite rumors, the fair is on schedule and the members are looking forward to huge turnout with upcoming concerts by Rick K and The Allnighters on Thursday, Bucky Covington on Friday and Point Pleasant native Chase Likens on Saturday.

Bike Show Participants were:

Gavin Aguillon of Danville, WV with his 1991 Harley Davidson

James Boggs of Danville, WV with his 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan

Donald Baisden of Danville, WV with his 2012 Harley Switch Back

Lonnie Bias, of Danville, WV with his 2004 Harley Heritage

Best of Show in the Bike Show went to Lonnie Bias.

Car Show Participants were:

Jerry Thompson of Wharton with his 1950 Studabager Pick-up

Tom Pauley of Danville with his 1967 Mustang

Randy Adkins of Danville with his 1966 Ford Fairlane

Dee McCloud of Harts with her 1960 Ford Mustang Fastback

Ray Wolford of Danville with his 1966 Plymouth Valiant

Scotty Cook of Bim with him 1923 T-Bucket

John Hager of Danville with his 1968 Mustang

Danny White of Uneeda with his 1975 Monza, first year Monza’s were produced

Danny White of Uneeda with his 1989 Shelby Dakota 1 of 1580 that were produced only 6 know in WV

Johnny Thurmond of Madison with his 1969 Camero

Kenny Thompson, with his 1995 Chevrolet

Sheldon Carter of Danville with his 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

Jimmy Beckett of Madison with his 1978 Triumph

David Gent of Danville with his 1973 Corvette

David Greene of Danville with his 2010 Ford Mustang

Roger McNeely of Danville with this 1969 Volkswagen Roadster

Best of Show in the car division went to Dee McCloud of Harts for her 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback.
