Boris is a police dog with the Boone County Sherriff’s office. His handler is Deputy Eric Eversole. The honor society is raising funds to buy Boris a bullet proof vest. According to Mrs. Dillard, Brookview Counselor and Honor Society Advisor, “Boris is a vital part of what the local enforcement department does . He needs safety equipment just like the human officers. The students wanted to have a project to benefit a local organization and we can think of no better use for the money raised.” The collection period begins on October 29th.Any one wanted to contribute to this worthy project can drop off a donation to Brookview, checks can be made out to Brookview Elementary School.
