Gospel Meeting

Gospel meeting will be at Greenview Church of Christ, 15 Big Branch Road, Danville, WV held by Joseph Pauley on October 1-5, Monday-Friday, at 7 p.m. Theme: Caught Up in Jesus. Monday- Caught up in Jesus; Tuesday-Exclusively devoted to God; Wednesday-Pour ourselves out in love; Thursday-Fueled up by hope; Friday-Awake to his coming.

Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle

Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at 7 p.m. Brother Michael Smith of Ravenswood will be preaching. Sister Debbie Schultz will be singing. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Gospel Sing

There will be a gospel sing at the Van Church of God Refuge Center, right beside the Van Fire Department. Pastor Patricia Smith welcomes everyone to attend. It will be on Saturday, Oct.6, at 5 p.m. Singers include Gary Dickerson, Terrie Dickerson, Brenda Pauley, Vanessa, George & Rachel Anderson, Tammy Holstein, Sandy Cook, Jason Cook, Rick Blankenship, Ruth Carvel and Carol Elkins. Heart of God Soup Kitchen

The Heart of God Soup Kitchen will be open 3 to 5 p.m., Sept. 26 - 28. Everyone come and enjoy a hot meal.

Revival

A revival will be held at Greenview Freewill Baptist in Greenview Sept. 26-28, 2012. Special singing nightly with Rev. Steve Burns preaching. Pastor John R. Frame welcomes everyone to attend these services.

The Closet

The Closet at Greenwood Church of God will now have the winter clothes out. We are also accepting donations. For more information, call Ruth at 304-247-6549.

McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church

The McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church Crisis Committee invites everyone to participate in our “Community Nursing Program.” The program takes place he third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCorkle FWB Church multipurpose room.

An RN will be available to the congregation of the church, community and surrounding communities to take your blood pressure, check your blood sugar, explain “the VIAL OF LIFE” (essential information to keep on hand), and explain Medical Power of Attorneys or Living Wills.

Barbara Kessinger, RN, heads the Community Nursing Program and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. She can be reached at 304-369-7158. Take advantage of this free informative community service.

Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle

The Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle will be having a 2 p.m. service Sunday, Sept. 16. Brother Tommy Miller will be preaching and “From the Heart” will be singing. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Tops

Tops (Take off pounds sensibly) meets every Thursday at the Fountain of Life Worship Center, Rock Creek. The entrance is on the left side of the building. Weigh in is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Tops is a nonprofit weight loss support group open to men, women and children seven years or older. There is a yearly membership fee. Games and incentives are used weekly to motivate weight loss.

Guiding Light F.W.B. Church

The Guiding Light F.W.B. Church at Rock Creek would like you to come and be with us at our church services at 10 a.m., Sunday School and Church at 11 a.m.; Wednesday night at 6 p.m. Pastor Calvin Jackson welcomes everyone to attend these services.

‘Let the Bible Speak’ radio show airs Sunday mornings

The Boone County Churches of Christ invite everyone to listen to “Let the Bible Speak” on Sunday mornings, from 8 to 9 a.m. on WZAC 92.5.
