Roy Lee Cablell and Slena Faye Priestley were united in marriage on October 21st, 2011 at the Morning Star House of Prayer in Ridgeview, WV. Roy “Lee” and Slena Faye started talking on the social networking site MySpace in February 2009 and began dating April 30th, 2009. Lee proposed to Slena in November 2010, on a four-wheeler ride with Lee’s sister and brother-in-law.
Lee is the son of Roy Alfred and Teresa Ann Cabell of Ashford, WV. He is the brother of Lisa Ann Burgess (Jeremy Burgess), the late Shannon Ann Cabell, Roy Anthony Cabell, and Christine Nicole Cabell all of Ashford, WV. He has one nephew, Jeremiah Hadden Burgess and 4 nieces, EmalyLeann Cabell, Shanna Mae Cabell, Kylie Elizabeth Cabell, and the late Alley Marie Burgess, of Ashford, WV. Lee is the grandson of the laste Alexander and the late Macel Ruth Cabell of Ashford, wV, and the late James Randolph Bentley of Chesapeake, WV and Vivian Ann Holtsclaw of Cross Lanes, wV He is a 97’ graduate of Sherman High School and is self-employed in Charleston, Also he does auto machine work at his home in Ashford.
Slena is the daughter of the late Jackie Ray and Thelma Lou Hall of Ridgeview, WV, and John Priestley of Nicholas Co, WV. She has 1 sister, Cynthia Rashell Pauley, of Riudgeview, WV and 1 half sister Jessica Nicole Priestley of Nicholas Co., WV. Slena has 3 daughters, Whittney Paige (7), Tabetha Lashea (6), and Shiann Dale Baqrker (4) all of Ashford, WV. She has 2 nephwes Jeremiah Cole Scalf and Tyler Ray Pauley. She is the gran-daughter of the late Owen Lester and Loretta Slena Kinder of Ridgeview, WV, the laste Esta and the late Archie Hall of Six Mile,WV, and the late Hickels David and the laste Robertaq Faye Priestley of Sandlick, WV. Slena is a 04’graduate of sherman High School and attended Southern Community College for a general education, as well as Virginia college Online for Health Administration. She is the 1st assistant at Little General in Marmet, WV.
The newly wed couple will reside in Ashford, WV with their 3 children, 3 dogs, and their pet rabbit.
