Thursday night's Trick-or-Treat in Boone County does not need to be the end of your family's holiday celebration.

This year, the Madison Martial Arts Center will host a Fall Festival on Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

According to event organizer Greg Dillon, there will be trunk or treat, with candy for children, games, karaoke, and movies.

This will be for children ages 10 years old and under.

Organizers are hopeful that this year's event will be something that the community embraces and repeats on an annual basis, as an event that is family-friendly and fun for both children and caregivers.

Community members are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and hand out treats. Or, if you have a special form of entertaining children - with stories, music, hands-on activities and crafts, this is the perfect opportunity to help bring a smile to a child's face.

Dillon says he is accepting donations of candy, prizes and the like that he and his helpers can pass along to the children attending this year's Fall Festival.

If you or an organization you are involved with would like to participate, call Greg Dillon at 304-542-0049 with any questions.
