After celebrating her 105th birthday on Feb. 3, 2013, Hazel Price of Madison died on Feb. 14 at Boone Nursing Center in Danville after a short illness.
She was a 74 year member of the Madison Baptist Church and was retired from Ellis Department Store, where she worked as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Price and daughter, Wanda Price Banwell.
She is survived by her son Jerry and wife Patti of Madison; two granddaughters, Cheryl Neumann of Dallas, Tx. And Leslie Neumann of Farmington, Mich.; one great granddaughter, Kendall Sopo of West Bloomfield, Mich.; one great-great grandchild, Presley Sopo.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Boone Nursing and Rehab for the care given to Hazel. Also, a thank you to Kanawha Hospice.
Funeral service was held Sunday at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. Followed with a burial in Price Cemetery in West Madison.
