PEYTONA – Human remains have been found in a trailer at Peytona, according to the Boone County’s Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators were called to the trailer, located just off state Route 3 at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night and then Kanawha County dispatchers put out an alert about 6:15 a.m. Thursday for two people police wanted to question for a possible homicide that happened in Peytona.

A human body that was decomposing was allegedly found inside the trailer, according to reports.

Boone County Sheriff's Deputies, West Virginia State Police and a crime scene are investigating the scene.

Deputies and other investigators at the scene are not releasing many details about the investigation at this time.

Coal Valley News Editor Fred Pace is at the scene and will update this story later today.
