A Garretson Family Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gospel Center Tabernacle fellowship hall in West Madison. Bring covered dishes and desserts of your choice. Paper goods, plates, napkins, cups, silverware, ice and drinks will be furnished. Please try to come and bring lots of family members with you. Hope to see you there.
The 16th annual Brush Creek Grade School reunion is just around the corner, Saturday, August 18 at the B.B. Johnston shelter at Racine Park, beginning at noon. Bring a covered dish and spend the afternoon. Deli meat trays will be provided again this year by Wayne Sparks. Napkins, eating utensils and soft drinks will also be provided.
The Dew family reunion was held Saturday, August 4, at the home of Jerry and Jean Graley in Emmons. Attending were the three surviving children of the late Bill and Daisy Dew of Hernshaw, Wanda Gay Postelwait, Mildred “Dink” Knapp and Bill Dew; and their grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, including the children of the late Fred and Virginia Dew McComas and the late Bob and Margaret Wills of the B.A.R.N. area.
A Kirk family reunion is planned for Saturday, August 18, at Dartmont Park, beginning at noon. This is for descendants of George, Benjamin, and Wade Kirk. Bring a covered dish and drinks and spend the afternoon.

The next scheduled Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28, at 6:00 p.m. at the Nellis Church/Archives. Make plans to attend.
