Sympathy to the family of Lucille Adkins Dix of Palm Bay, Fla., who passed away Aug. 4 at the age of 72.

Congratulations to BJ Mooney and Kara Huffman of Ashford on the birth of their son, Bryce Alexander Mooney, who was born July 27, weighing eight pounds, five ounces. Bryce has an older brother, Brayden Mooney and a sister, Karleigh Mooney. Brayden and Bryce will be traveling to Philadelphia on Aug. 18 for eye examinations. Remember both these boys during their doctor visit.

Nancy Chandler of Ashford graduated May 16 and is now a nurse practitioner. Her daughter, Sarah Chandler, graduated in June from Sherman High School and will be going to college at Concord. Congratulations to both mother and daughter.

Congratulations to David Chandler of Ashford and Tara Parsons of Peytona who were married Aug. 1 at the University of Charleston. The newlyweds will be residing in Ashford.
