Dear Editor:

I was born and raised in state of WV but have not lived in the state for fifty years.I would like to say, if the people of WV don't vote Rockefeller out on the next chance they get (send him back to NY), Sorry they deserve what he votes for. Looks like that means no more coal jobs. You have one good man in the senate so now work on getting one more.

No what Rockefeller wants is for our people to stop ignorantly and blindly following those in charge of these coal companies. Our people have been shooting themselves in the foot for years by listening to the ridiculous propaganda that this companies have used to control their workers views. These companies know and count on the ignorance and laziness of our people and trust that by telling their workers that they are heroes they essentially buy into anything the companies tell them. Its sad. This state has so much potential to grow. But because of practices like this, our own people have robbed themselves of a bright future.
