Boone County players given 2012 All-State honors in football
For Class A, Corey Agosti of Van (junior) received 2nd Team All-State honors at Linebacker. Corey Agosti’s stats on defense are as follows: 142 tackles and 3 sacks. He avereraged 16.0 tackles per game. Caleb Linville made 1st team Offensive Line (senior) from Scott, and Caleb Linville made 2nd team Offensive Line from Scott.
Scott’s basketball game rescheduled
The Scott Skyhawks boys basketball game on 12-11-12 vs. Sissonville was cancelled due to the natural gas explosion in the Sissonville area, according to Scott’s coach Nick Cabell.
“The game has been rescheduled for December 19th at Scott with JV starting at 5:45 p.m. and Varsity at 7:30 p.m.,” Cabell said.
Cabell says he is hoping Scott fans will mark their calendars regarding the schedule change.
“We would like to have a nice home crowd that night,” he said.
