It was an ambulance crew out of Logan County that flipped over during an early morning traffic accident at Danville today.

According to the Director of Emergency 911 Services for Boone County, Greg Lay, the ambulance apparently rear-ended another vehicle before tipping over on Hollywood Branch Rd., near Danville.

The accident occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., according to Lay.

The ambulance crew were reportedly returning from a transport to Ohio, and there were no patients in the ambulance at the time of the accident.

No injuries were reported from occupants of either vehicle.
