Family searching for missing teenage girl
by FRED PACE, EDITOR
PRENTER – Family members of a missing girl are asking for the public’s help in finding the 14-year-old. Paula Stewart, of Prenter, has been missing since Friday evening, May 17, 2013, according to family members. The family has turned to police and social media in hopes of finding Steward and posted a flyer on Facebook. Stewart is described as a white female, age 14, about 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds. She has brown hair passed her shoulders, and she usually has it pulled up, according to her family. She had part of her hair under dyed pink. “She was walking from Williams Mountain to the Van area and was seen around a small reddish color car,” said Judith Green, Stewart’s aunt. “She has been seen in the Van or Gordon areas, and possibly Sylvester with her boyfriend.” Green says the alleged boyfriend is 17-year-old Robert Bowe, who is from the Van and Gordon areas. Green says her niece left home in jogging pants and shirt. “But every time someone sees them out, she is in a different outfit,” Green added. The family is urging anyone who sees her to call 911. “Please let us know if you have seen Paula or know of her whereabouts,” Green said. “Someone is hiding her, so if you know anything please inform the State Police or Boone County Sheriff’s Department. They are involved in this missing person case.” You can also contact Green or Molly Stewart at 304-837-4370.
