Freddie M. "Jack" Keenan 78, of Pinellas Park, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008.

He was born in Nellis and came here in 1965, from Dunbar.

He retired from West Company and he was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Locally, he was a life member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 104 in Pinellas Park.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edna JoAnn; 3 sons, Robert, Patrick and Darren; 1 daughter, Kathryn Thomas; 1 brother, Robert; 1 sister, Norma Weires; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his son, Freddie Michael.

A memorial service was held on Jan. 5, 2009, at 2:15 p.m. at Bay Pines National Cemetery.

The family prefers that memorial donations be sent to American Legion Post 104 Auxiliary, 7550 60th St. N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781, for care packages for our Troops. E. James Reese Funeral Home and Crematory, Seminole 727-391-9954.
