The West Virginia WIC (Woman, Infant, and Children) Program will once again be offering the Vouchers for The Farmers Market. If you are currently in WIC and your appointments are up to date, you are eligible to receive the vouchers. You MUST have your WIC folder with you! They will be given out every Tuesday in July from 8:30 to 3:30.
REV UP Madison
REV UP Madison invites the public to attend a branding/logo forum at the Boone Heritage and Art Center (beside of Coal Museum) Monday at 6 p.m., July 11. Your input is valuable and will be a part of history for our city.
Foster Neighborhood Crime Watch
Foster Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting will be on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Foster Church of Christ beside the recycling center. The speaker will be the Superintendent of Schools Mr. John Hudson. He will be informing everyone about the upcoming School Bond Election on Aug. 20.

Boone Co. Assn. of Retired School Employees will meet Wednesday, July 20, at 10 a.m., at Park Avenue Restaurant in Danville. Mark Sumpter, President of Boone County Board of Education, will be our guest speaker. He will present information about the up-coming school bond, which will be presented to the citizens of the county for a vote on Saturday, August 20.
The newly retired school employees will be special guest of the organization. They are urged to attend. Food will be served following the hour-long meeting.
Rev. George Pauley will present a short devotion. Door prizes will go to those with lucky numbers. Gary Bell, Pres., encourages all members to attend.

A Caregiver support group meeting will be held on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at WV Family Wellness Center at 471 Main Street in Madison.
The Alzheimer's Association's Caregiver Support Groups are designed to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. They help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
The groups encourage caregivers to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.
