The Closet

Summer is over and winter is here, so are the winter clothes. The Closet at Greenwood Church of God is open on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., unless it is snowing or snow is on the lot. We are taking donations. For information or to see if the Closet is open, call 304-247-6549.

Peytona Church of Christ

The Peytona Church of Christ will be hosting a community dinner on Saturday, December 10 from 1 till 4 pm. Menu is: Turkey and all the trimmings. Everyone is invited to attend this event. Come out and meet others in your community and have a day of fellowship!

Gordon Union

Dec. 12th: Gordonaires & Hawks Brother's will be singing at 7 p.m. Love offering will go to the Food Basket fund.

Walk thru Bethlehem

Hometown Independent Mission Church in Hometown presents “Walk thru Bethlehem” on Dec. 8-10 from 6 to 9 p.m. This is a theatrical excursion back to the time and place of Christ’s birth over 2,000 years ago. After you visit through the town, we invite you to our kitchen, where you can warm up with many choices of soup and a cup of hot chocolate. There will also be Christmas carols. To set up a group time, call Darrell at 304-549-1223. We are asking that you bring a can of food that will be donated to the local food banks.

New Hope Baptist Church

Family and friends of New Hope Baptist church are cordially invited to attend our Christmas Dinner on Dec. 11 after the 11 p.m. morning service and Dec 18 at 11 a.m. attend the Children's Christmas Play to hear the Christmas Story.

New Hope Baptist Chuch is located on WV Rt. 85, on the right near Boone Memorial Hospital. Ray Barker, Pastor, invites everyone to attend these events.

Freedie Freewill Baptist Church

The Laborers will be singing Sunday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. at Freedie Freewill Baptist Church. Please join us for a song and praise service.
