According to the criminal complaint, Tommy Lee Harper of Comfort confessed to having sex with the fifteen year old girl in his Prenter home.
Harper was arrested, and transported to Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden, Logan County on Thursday.
Harper appeared before Magistrate Porter Snodgrass who set bond at $100,000 or $10,000 cash.
Third degree sexual assault is a felony, and is punishable by 1-5 years in a state penitentiary or up to a $10,000 fine.
Harper remains in jail until he is released on bond, or a preliminary hearing is held in Boone County Magistrate Court.
