PRENTER - Roy Curtis Hensley, 79, of Prenter Road near Seth, died Sunday,

April 15, 2007, at his residence after a brief illness.

Born July 9, 1927, at Clendenin, he was the son of the late Vernon and

Lectia Groves Hensley.

Roy was also preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Doss Hensley.

Mr. Hensley was a retired forest ranger for the State of West Virginia, an

Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the VFW, and was of the Freewill

Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Jillney Hensley of Madison; brothers, Ray

Hensley of Charleston, and Jimmy Hensley of Newton; and sister, Erma Maynard

of Covel.

Funeral services were April 17, at Stevens Funeral Home, Madison, with the

Rev. Greg Hensley officiating. Burial followed at the Williams Mountain

Cemetery, Williams Mountain.
