Coal trucks are taking over the town of Madison, especially the residential section of Route 85. They do not obey posted speed limits nor stop at traffic lights, mainly in the early morning hours of 4:00- 6:00 a.m.

Noise pollution, like we have never seen in Madison is here now, and it is made by coal truck drivers using their Jacob brakes unnecessarily.. They are speeding empty and using the brakes to slow or shift gears easier. They are destroying the road. People’s lives and homes are being endangered.

If you are concerned about any of these problems, no matter where you live in Madison, please be present at the next Madison town council meeting, scheduled for Monday, May 7 at Madison City Hall.
