I would kike to address this letter to all coal miners, coal companies and related businesses. We need to unify against these groups like OVEC who are trying to divide and conquer us by making the mountain top mining issue a union/non-union battle. They continue to post news of any kind on their web sites that places Massey Energy in a bad light, whether it has to do with mountaintop mining or not. And by the way, if that is their main objective to stop surface mining, why are they clearly against:

  • new coal power plants, whether clean or not

  • coal to clean liquid technology

  • and any increase in any kind of mining

    These groups need to come out of their Trojan horse of stopping mountain top mining and state their true agenda of stopping all mining period!
