“To hear neighbors tell it” is one of the worst intro lines in what is supposed to be unbiased journalism I have ever heard. Then, to make a mockery of this serious situation, by using inflammatory phrases such as “blood-thirsty” and “man-eating” dogs undermines the credibility of the story and all persons involved.

Sensationalized reporting hinders all attempts to ascertain the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
