Howard James Stollings, 73, of Danville passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison. He was born June 16, 1934, a son of the late Jess and Nannie Edwards Stollings. He was also preceded in death by his son, Howard James Stollings; and sister, Lucille Adkins. He was a retired welder for Ford Motor Company and was a member of Quinland Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his wife Berta Jean Stollings of Quinland; daughter, Deborah Kay Stollings of Huntington; step-daughters, Ronetta Robertson, Rosetta Thurmond and Renee Smutko; step-son, Roger Robertson; brothers, Lenord and Ruth Stollings of Danville, and Virgil and Pat Stollings of Danville; sisters, Vivian and Jerry Ball of Danville, Wanda and Romey Nelson of Danville, and Edna Justice of Danville; and was loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Service was 2 pm Sunday, October 14 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Pastor Charles Bonham officiating. Burial followed in Family Gardens, Madison.
