Jack White, 79, of Danville passed away April 7, 2008, at home.

He was a retired coal miner and attended the Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two children, Billie Oliver and Teddy White. He is survived by his wife, Edith White; children, Darrell White, Diane Roach, Karen Clemons, Francien Oliver, Donald White, Kay Mitchell, Kent White and Ricky White; brothers, Junior, Wilson and Lawrence White; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Friday, April 11, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Jesse Perdue officiating. Burial followed in Danville Memorial Park, Danville. You may express your condolences to the family at www.handleyfh.com.
