We are now entering the month of May, and many are ready for gardening and getting their flowers planted.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Wanda Prine, of Ridgeview, who passed away April 21 after a long illness. She was 62.

Brian and Kim Graley, of Ashford, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Brooke Graley, to Jeremy Hudnall, son of Mark and Kathy Hudnall, of Montgomery. Hannah is a 2007 graduate of Sherman High School; Jeremy is a 2001 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2006 graduate of West Virginia University Tech. Hannah is the granddaughter of Wilkie and Sue Barker, of Nellis, and Jerry and Jean Graley, of Emmons. A June 7 wedding is planned.

The family of the late Jess and Clayte Estep invite all of their relatives, neighbors and friends to join them at the Estep reunion June 22 beginning at noon. The event will be held in the Senior Citizens Building at Racine Park. Bring a covered dish.

Visiting family members in the Nellis area last week was Ernest Ray “Tags” Barker, of Springfield, Ohio. They all enjoyed spending time together.
