The recipe for making hummingbird food is four cups water and one cup sugar. Let the mixture come to a boil, cool it, fill the feeder with it and watch for the birds to come and eat it. Here is a piece of advice: Do not add any red color of any kind because it will make the birds sick. Most feeders have red on them and that is enough to attract the hummingbirds. The mixture keeps well in the refrigerator. I usually put half of the mixture in the feeder.

Another store has opened up in Whitesville. It is a extension of the store across the street, The Good Samaritan, which is owned and operated by the Whitesville Presbyterian Church. The newly opened store also is a used store, with furniture, windows and many household items. The proceeds of both stores go to help the needy.
Like the torch held by the Statue of Liberty, God's light shines to all who want to flee from the storms of life. Cry out to Jesus when you have a need and He will answer you. Read Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
My late husband, Junior Averson, had this verse marked to memorize in his Bible.
