I have to give two thumbs up for The Mountain Man and Hudson's Bar and Grill for their contrubution to the youngster from Van who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. I had the oppertunity to meet several of the members of the Mountain Man Saturday night and I have to tell ya that those are some of the nicest folks that I have ever met. Mountain Man is a group of nine couples who help support the special olympics. Take away their motorcycles and they are just your normal average hard working Moms and Dads who find joy in helping others and standing for good causes. I tip my new Kenny Chesney Cowboy hat ( I'll explain the hat later on in this column) to those 18 members for all their hard work and dedication. I think that the world needs more folks who are willing and able to help those in need. Both Mountain Man and Hudson's get gold stars for pulling together for a little girl who is ill. My adventure this week began with the horrible Monday blues, Tuesday was a tad better, but by Thursday things had become very positive and relaxing. Tuesday I made my weekly trip to Hudson's where I played trivia and no my team didn't win. Note that Pam and Kenny weren't there so my team wasn't up to par. My cousins Judy and Terenia joined us this week. Right when you think that you have smart and intelligent cousins they always seem to prove you wrong. Now, had Roger asked more "girly" questions my team would have been a shoe in for the winners circle however, these questions about WWI, sports and presidents have got to go. Roger needs to start asking questions that involve Macy's, Liz, or Clinque. Then I will stand a chance. I will have to give credit to Tonia and Kersey for finally organizing their trivia cheating skills because after many many months they finally won a game but then again on the other hand Chuck was playing on their team and he wins trivia almost every week. So either Chuck Hudson is a smart man or he cheats better than anyone else. I am voting for the later of the two (Just kidding Chuck) Thursday I decided to "sneak" out of the office to have a pedicure. Don't think that I wasn't still working cause I did try to sale them some ads. However having my feet done was the main priority. As you know I think there is nothing better than going down to Hair, Toes and Beyond to have my feet pampered. As always Kim had a hard time trying to convience me to get out of the chair and its a good thing I did decide to leave the chair because there was a message on my phone that said I had the oppertunity to go see Kenny Chesney. Center Stage!! Eight rolls back from the stage. It was awesomely awesome!! I had never been to a concert before and now I am really addicted. Well I can't say that I have never been to a concert because one time my Aunt Darla and Mom talked me into going and seeing Clay Aiken. Kenny Chesney was much better than Clay. They announced that Tim McGraw would be coming to town and I am difinately going. I even ran into an old friend while I was there. I hadn't seen April in a few months so Thursday was really a treat. The only complaint that I have is that I am having a hard time hearing today and everyone seems to think that I am yelling at them!!
