Clifford W. Littleton Sr., 92, of Charleston, formerly of Sharples, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. He was born March 17, 1916, in Aden, Ky., and was the son of the late Milton and Sarah Rogers Littleton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Minnie Sanders Littleton. He was a retired CSX employee of Danville, a 58-year member of O'Dell Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Bodies and a member of Beni Kedem Shrine. He attended Ball Chapel Church, Jeffrey. He is survived by three children, Nancy Flateau of Lincoln Park, Mich., Kenneth of Charleston and Clifford Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Charleston; three grandchildren, Heidi Flateau of Royal Oak, Mich., Lisa Chaput of Lincoln Park, Mich., and James Flateau Jr. and wife, Crystal, of Travers City, Mich.; one great-grandson, Jacob Chaput of Lincoln Park, Mich.; sisters, Maudie Lane of Chapmanville, Wilma Dennison of Boones Camp, Ky., Dorothy Henry of Ottawa, Audrey Reed of Taylor, Mich., and Lena Burger of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. Service was Sunday, July 20, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with Pastor Edsel Aliff officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens, Madison.
