As the end of summer draws to a close, the town of Danville announced that the End Of Summer Celebration is scheduled for Sept. 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Danville Community Center Parking Lot.

Special entertainment for this year’s End of Summer Celebration includes Krista Brown, The Gordon Harmony Boys and Turn Around.

The admission is free and one free ticket will be given to adults for the chance at a grand prize.

This year, attendees can expect similar and new amusements during the celebration.

Event organizers are planning to have cake walks, BINGO, an apple pie and hot dog eating contests, a hula hoop contest, health and fitness booths, vendor booths, historical tours, a variety of food, and many games such as Let’s Make A Deal.
