On Saturday, Oct. 18, Jesse Allen Clark, 30, of Bob White, was charged with malicious wounding after he supposedly inflicted harm to another man using a utility knife.

According to the criminal complaint filed in the Magistrate Court, Deputy S.M. Jarrell of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office observed a large larceration on the left side of the victim’s abdomen and left arm.

The men had become involved in an altercation prior to the malicious wounding, according to the complaint.

Witnesses told Deputy Jarrell that Clark used a utility knife to cause the injuries, according to court documents.

Clark is being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $20,000 surety, or $2,000 cash bail. If found guilty of the charges, Clark faces 2 to 10 years in prison according to court documents
