Remember the Lick Creek (Ashford) Clean-Up is set for this Saturday, April 7 at 9:30 a.m. Everyone will meet at Ashford-Rumble Elementary School for bags and gloves. After the clean-up, there will be an Easter-egg hunt at the school and each child will get a prize. Contact Teresa Perdue for more info and to let her know if you plan to participate.

The Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church at Ashford spring revival is scheduled for Monday, April 9 through Saturday, April 14. Rev. Don Dobbins, pastor of East Bank United Methodist Church, will be the evangelist. Special singing will be held nightly, as follows: Monday, Eddie and Marilyn Gaunch; Tuesday, Steve Wood; Wednesday, Hernshaw Choir; Thursday, The Hoy Family; Friday, Pam Graham; and Saturday, Randy Wood. Pastor David Kinder extends a warm welcome to everyone to attend these special services.

The 7th annual Adopt-A-Spot spring clean-up is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 in the Nellis area, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments and hot dogs will be provided for those participating in the clean-up. Everyone in the community is invited to participate.
