Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church
Mahone Chapel United Methodist Church at Ashford has scheduled a Spring Revival from Monday, April 11 through Saturday, April 14. Rev. Don Dobbins, Pastor of East Bank United Methodist Church will be the evangelist.
Special singing will be held nightly, as follows: Monday, Eddie and Marilyn Gaunch; Tuesday, Steve Wood; Wednesday, Hernshaw Choir; Thursday, The Hoy Family; Friday, Pam Graham; and Saturday, Randy Wood.
Pastor David Kinder extends a warm welcome to everyone to attend these special services.
There will be a Gospel Sing with local talent at the McCorkle Community Center on Saturday, April 14, starting at 5 p.m. There will also be hotdog sale at the same time.
The Racine United Methodist Church
The Racine United Methodist Church located at 998 Short Creek Road will be in revival with the Rev. Dr. Dan Light at 7:00 p.m. from April 18 through April 21. The United Methodist Riverside Parish will conclude its traveling revival on April 18 in a joint revival meeting. There will be special singing each evening as follows; Wednesday April 18 will be the Racine United Methodist Choir, Thursday April 19 will be the Racine Baptist Singers, Friday April 20 will be The Happy Valley Boys and Saturday April 21 will be Tim McCoy. Greenview Community Church
Will be having a Revival April 23 through 27, with guest speaker Jeff Mosteller and special singing by The Meekers, Debbie Shultz, Seth Bunning, Good News, and Safe Harbor 7 p.m. nightly. Pastor Luke Cooper invites everyone to attend.
“A TIME of Renewal” at the First Baptist Church of Racine, WV with Evangelist Dr. Max Hill speaker. The event is scheduled for Sunday April 15 through Wednesday April 18 at 7 p.m. Child care will be provided from newborns up to age 5. Special music: Sunday – Racine Methodist Choir; Monday – Handley Baptist Choir; Tuesday – Forks of Coal Baptist Choir and Wednesday – FBC Racine Choir. A fellowship dinner will be held Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle
From the Heart will be singing at Camp Creek Gospel Tabernacle Sunday, April 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. Brother Brian Sowards will be preaching. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The church will also be having a hotdog, baked goods and yard sale on April 14, starting at 10 a.m. All proceeds will be going to the building fund.

Greenview Community Clean Up Day
The Greenview area will have a community clean-up day Saturday, April 14, 2012, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The dumpster will be located at Greenview Community Park. This event is sponsored by the Boone County Commission and Boy Scout Troop 131.
The Closet at Greenwood will be closed temporarily while changing from winter to summer. Reopening will be posted. If you have an emergency or donation, call Ruth Hoosier at 247-6549.
