Congratulations to all the Boone County 2012 high school graduates. Graduation ceremonies took place around the county this past week.

A hot dog sale will be held at the Nellis Wesleyan Church, Friday, June 1, from 10 a.m. til 4 p.m. You may pre-order by calling (304) 836-8140.

The 30th annual Nellis-Armco reunion, combined with the 6th annual Nellis Grade School reunion, is scheduled for Saturday, June 30, beginning at noon. The Nellis Elementary School gym has been reserved for this date. Mark your calendar and make plans to spend the afternoon with former neighbors and long-time friends. Food will be available.

Darlene Perdue Long and all family members of Carolyn Williams extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has participated in the fundraisers for Carolyn. Those who helped or donated to the bean dinner, the yard sales; everything is much appreciated.

Mooney will be speaking at the Estep Baptist Church in Ridgeview, and on Sunday, June 24, Roger Kratz will be speaking at Rumble Baptist. On June 24 New Salem Sound will be singing at Rumble Baptist.
