WVU Engineering students competed in the international Design/Build/Fly competition which was sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This year’s competition was held in Wichita, KS in April.
Students spent two semesters designing and building their aircraft and were extremely pleased to finish in the top 10 out of 68 teams competing. Pictured is the Design/Build/Fly team featuring Boone County engineering team members L. Travis Nichols and Caraline Griffith.
