Dear Editor and Boone County Citizens, I want to publically thank Mr. Joshua Nelson for all of his leadership and help that he gave us during these power outages. He was out very late cutting trees out of the road, and taking food and hundreds of gallons of water all over the county when there was no one else coming out our way. I think it is time that someone like him represents out county. He took it upon his self to organize efforts to make sure that our county did not do without, taking time away from his own family to do so. Again big thanks to my friend Joshua Nelson.
