Remember the 16th annual Brush Creek Grade School reunion is just around the corner, August 18 at the B.B. Johnston shelter at Racine Park, beginning at noon. Bring a covered dish and spend the afternoon. Deli meat trays will be provided again this year by Wayne Sparks. Napkins, eating utensils and soft drinks will also be provided.

Sympathy to the family of Dianna Kay Gillispie of Emmons who passed away July 20 at the age of 67.

The Garretson Family Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, August 18 at

1:00 p.m. at the Gospel Center Tabernacle fellowship hall in West Madison. Bring covered dishes and desserts of your choice. Paper goods, plates, napkins, cups, silverware, ice and drinks will be furnished. Please try to come and bring lots of family members with you. Hope to see you there.

VISITING/TRAVELING

Spending the week of July 4 at the Outer Banks in North Carolina were Kermit and Rose Harless, Steven, Michelle and Makayla Harless, and Sandra and Brittany Evans, all of Nellis, Travis Holstein and Kim and Juie Smith of Ashford, Jon, Jessica, Austin and Evan Rach of Louisa, Ky., Rick, Rose, Ritchie and Chelsea Harless of Costa, and Chelsea Allred of Chapmanville. All enjoyed the week away from the power outages in our area, and other problems that resulted from the June 29 storm.
