Each year Madison Elementary and Pre K Academy participate in the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser, Relay for Life of Boone County. This fundraiser includes our communities, schools, churches and local businesses. As combined schools, our students engaged in a “friendly” school-wide competition, together they raised $3,000 in donations! Our winning classes received coupons from our local McDonald’s Restaurant for large ice cream cones. Both schools were also invited to participate in Relay for Life of Boone County, which took place on June 1st and 2nd at Lick Creek Park. Team Madison Elementary/Pre K Academy want to thank the following businesses for Katie Connolly Foster and Chris Connolly (Managers of McDonald’s Restaurant in Madison? and Patty Stlawrence (owner of RTM Productions). All donations go directly to the American Cancer Society to help save lives and to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
