Victoria (Spurlock) Lee, 79, of Colfax, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Feb. 1, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Dolis Spurlock; brothers, Lawrence and Clarence; and sisters, Jeanette Dunlap, Ann Hamblin and Betty Peace.

Victoria was born March 22, 1929, at Maxine, WV. She attended Van High School and later went on to work as a telephone operator in Cincinnati, OH and New Richmond, WI.

She married Allan Lee in 1951 and their union of 57 years was blessed with five children. Victoria found her passion in nursing and was an excellent and caring nurse who touched many people's lives.

She worked at the Barron Nursing Home, Barron, WI, and later at the Red Cedar Medical Center, Rice Lake, WI.

Throughout her life she enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, traveling, reading, keeping up with current events and most importantly, spending time with her family, who will forever miss her advice and love.

Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Brenda (Tony) Mazzuca of Agate, CO, Susan (Mike) Ebner of Elizabeth, CO and Pamela (Jeff) Weeks of Buffalo, MN; sons, Michael (Leigh) of Mundelein, IL and David (Tami) of Colfax, WI; 9 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Victoria is also survived by her brothers, Howard Spurlock of Charleston, WV, Edward Spurlock of Hartwell, G, Arthur Spurlock of Lilburn, GA and Dual Spurlock of Prairie Farm, WI; sisters, Carrie Spurlock of Lynnwood, WA and Mary Bowlby of Lake Forest Park, WA; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services were held on Feb. 5 at Moe Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, WI, with burial at Moe Lutheran Church Cemetery.
